Congratulations! introduces us to three teenaged boys celebrating their 18th
birthdays. They were born in the first year of Soviet perestroika and are coming
of age during the Euro referendum. Their birthday parties turn out quite
differently and reflect their different economic classes. Providing frank perspective
are takes from their daily lives, filmed by the birthday boys themselves.
Kolm erinevast sotsiaalsest kihist pärit noormeest tähistavad oma kaheksateistkümnendat
sünnipäeva. See on põlvkond, kes sündis Nõukogude Liidu
perestroika esimesel aastal ja saab täisealiseks ajal, mil Eestis peetakse
euroreferendumit. Millist elu elavad nad tänases Eestis? Paralleelselt sünnipäevapeoga
näeme nende endi poolt filmitud igapäevastseene.
